How Do I...
Make An Appointment?
Appointments at the main surgery in Penrhyn Bay are made using the Advanced Access
System. Contact by telephone or in person before 10.00am will result in a guaranteed appointment the
same day with an appropriate health care professional. In our Deganwy surgery the appointments are on
a traditional system with half the appointments being booked in advance.
If you cannot keep an appointment please inform us as soon as possible as this will assist us.
Obtain A Home Visit?
Patients are requested to telephone before 10.00am if a visit is required that day. Emergency visits
only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as much information as possible to
enable the doctor to allocate priority to house calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen
at the surgery in the time it takes to do a home visit.
Obtain Test Results?
We provide a service to take blood within the surgery for all tests approved by a
Health Care Professional. We are not able to take tests for which there is no clear clinical need.
As a failsafe system, we ask patients to contact the surgery for results if they have not received them within two weeks (unless you have been informed that a delay is expected).
PLEASE ONLY RING BETWEEN 2.00 - 4.00pm FOR RESULTS at Penrhyn Bay Surgery but between 11.00am - 1.00pm at Deganwy.
