The Practice Staff
Practice Manager
Diane Windmill
The practice manager oversees the day-to-day administration and smooth running of the practice and will
help with any enquiry regarding non-medical aspects of your health or treatment.
Receptionists
Our office manager, Linda Jones, leads a team of eight receptionists.
Practice Nurses
We have three practice nurses.
Health Care Assistant
The health care assistant carries out phlebotomy, dressings, ECGs and blood pressure checks.
District Nurses
There are several district nurses attached to the surgery. They provide nursing care to sick, elderly
and post-operative housebound patients at home. Messages can be taken for the district nurses at
reception, at both surgeries.
GP Registrars And Students
Our practice is a training/teaching practice. Our registrars are fully qualified and have a great
deal of hospital experience. Registrars are attached to our practice for 12 months and usually become
principals in general practice after completing their training. They are at all times encouraged to
seek advice when required from the practice partners.
We are also fortunate to have medical students from Liverpool attached to our practice for
short periods. If you do not wish to have the student present during your consultation please
inform the reception staff prior to seeing the doctor.
When booking an appointment you may be asked if you would consult with one of our registrars
who are excellent doctors, appointed by the practice.
